Hospitality

Create the right atmosphere.

We offer beautiful and sophisticated commercial interior coverings without compromising quality, sustainability or availability — which sets us apart.

COVRD represents several high-end brands, bringing together an impressive range of high performing textiles and flooring — such as soft leathers and velvets, elegant carpet tiles and LVT, and clever acoustic systems — that will create the right atmosphere and deliver a memorable customer experience.

Because we know our products inside out and keep up to date with new design innovations and trends, we can provide the best solutions for your hospitality design needs.

Hospitality interiors often feature hard, sound-reverberating surfaces such as glass, timber, polished concrete floors and hard seating. The interior trends favouring these elements results in increased noise and disruption to patrons as well as staff. At COVRD, we offer a vast range of acoustic treatments suitable for a variety of interior applications such as ceiling, walls and windows, that are easy to install and designed for the environment.

Ceiling

  • Ecoustic Soffit from Instyle is made from the Ecoustic Felt (34 colours) with a white or black sound-absorbent core detail, available in two high-performing, sound-absorbing thicknesses: 25mm and 50mm.

Wall / Window

  • Instyle Australia has a huge range of acoustic wall panels, tiles, timber blades and perforated timber panels. View all acoustic panels for wall applications here.
  • Instyle’s Atelier Acoustic Drapery and Feel Acoustic Drapery can be used as acoustic drapery to help reduce unwanted reverberation whilst softening sound within a space. Atelier has an NRC rating of 0.4 and can contribute to several Green Star and WELL criteria, and Feel has an NRC rating of 0.8 and contributes to several Green Star, LEED and WELL criteria.

Carpet tile

Shaw Contract’s carpet tiles are a great option in high traffic areas such as hotel foyers or corridors where flooring can be worn down or damaged over time, due to their ease of installation and replacement. Tiles also provide more flexibility in terms of usability and design, and overall create less wastage than broadloom counterparts.

Broadloom carpet

Shaw Contract’s versatile and extensive range of broadloom carpet means more freedom of design.

Resilient

Shaw Contract’s LVT (luxury vinyl tile) and COREtec feature high performance wear layers with water resistant tiles and easy installation. The collections listed below are also coated in an ExoGuard+™ layer for superior scratch and scuffing resistance.

Custom design

Shaw Contract’s Custom Design Studio will help you achieve your design goals and vision to meet renovation and installation timelines. Choose from: Multi Tuft, Multi-Level Cut Loop, Canvas Print, Colorpoint, Tailor Tuft, and CYP for both Broadloom and Carpet Tile.

Custom rugs

The new Running Line Rug Program from Shaw Contract provides commercial grade soft flooring designed to be shipped quickly and installed effortlessly with no accessories needed.

Tretford 2m Roll and 500mm x 500mm Tile

The inherent properties of Tretford’s natural carpets improve air quality, acoustics and contribute towards energy savings. Goat hair is one of the toughest natural carpet fibers available, which contributes to its incredible longevity and durability even in the most demanding hospitality environments.

Choose from a design collection or create your own unique design — in any size or shape — from 60 different colours for your hospitality space. We also offer a shorter lead time than most custom rug products.

Leathers

The Contemporary Leathers by Instyle collection features beautiful, high quality leathers, including pure aniline, semi-aniline, buffalo hides and nubuck, for leather upholstery and wall panels.

  • E.g. Verona — low VOC and reusable with a beautifully soft handle with great durability and comfort. It achieves a Level 5 Excellent Seating Comfort rating.

FibreGuard and FibreGuard Pro

FibreGuard and FibreGuard Pro from Zepel Fabrics provides superior stain resistance for low maintenance and easy to clean fabrics. An antimicrobial solution is applied to the fabric during production, resulting in protection from accidental spills for the life of the fabric. The fabric is still flexible, breathable, and fully washable. FibreGuard Pro is also OEKO-TEX certified so no harmful chemicals are released into the world. FibreGuard features a wide range of fabric types, styles and designs suitable for a variety of applications.

LIFE Textiles

LIFE is a range of textiles from Instyle made from sustainable, renewable resources such as wool, sourced locally from Australia and New Zealand. They involve less finishing chemicals and are designed for durability, meeting commercial performance standards. They are also certified low VOC.

Vinyls

Our huge range of upholstery vinyls are waterproof, easy to clean and bleach resistant — they can be easily cleaned with mild soap and water, or disinfected with bleach for a more thorough clean. The woven fabric backing provides additional stability for increased durability and longevity in high traffic areas, such as hotel foyers and restaurants.

Casamance

French brand Casamance offers fabric and wallpaper designs utilising a broad range of different materials, rich colour, and printing and weaving techniques, combining them effortlessly to create harmony and give the brand its sophisticated and elegant style.

    • E.g. Le Lin: A vinyl faced wallcovering that meets commercial fire ratings and aesthetic requirements.

Instyle

Instyle offers more than 50 individual wallcoverings with over 500 colourways, which are categorised into four collections for easy identification — NaturalMetallicHigh Performance and Specialty — so there is a wall covering for every application.

Their Type I wallcoverings are durable, cleanable, and suitable for general areas such as guest rooms or public spaces in a hotel.

  • E.g. Antwerp: A unique textural linen wallcovering with sophisticated organic pleats.

Their Type II wallcoverings are durable, cleanable, and suitable for high traffic areas, with some also offering antimicrobial or antibacterial properties and can be bleach cleaned.

  • E.g. Mandalay: An elegant high performance wallcovering with an understated natural texture, ideal for high traffic environments
