A great example of international supply for a global account by Shaw Contract, is the latest project completed by Design Paper for their ongoing client, South 32. The new office located in Johannesburg combines the successful elements achieved in their Singapore and Perth offices whilst incorporating local cultural and workplace considerations.
Three “aspirational pillars” for the client focused on “Lifestyle, Connectivity and Flexibility” as their workplace needs have evolved and changed after the impact of Covid19. The resulting connected spaces combine flowing elements, soft colours and textures including Shaw Contracts luxurious carpet tiles.
The clever use of materials enhance the “access to natural light from both sides, speaking immediately to South32’s emphasis on wellness.” Incorporating Shaw Contract Knotted and Back weave collections into the overall design concept assists to define the “diverse menu of settings” achieved by the architects of this exquisite space.
